Traditional Pharmacy

Our most important job is to meet your prescription needs and to provide important drug information for you about your prescriptions and over the counter medications. Prescriptions are dispensed with patient information leaflets and a pharmacist is always available to answer your questions. Our staff is trained to educate you in the proper way to take or use your prescriptions and questions and phone calls are welcomed, not discouraged. Refill prescriptions can be phoned in ahead for convenient pick-up or delivery if needed. Deliveries are Monday through Saturday afternoons and are same-day if phoned in by 2pm and the item is not a special order. Special ordering is not a problem, if there is something that you cannot find or would like to have us stock for you, please ask. Many requests can be obtained for you within a day or two.

Sand Run Pharmacy covers most major prescription plans and can accept most major prescription drug cards. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards and may ask for a credit card for special order items or for mailing items. Applications for house charges available upon request which provides a monthly statement on the first of each month.

Sand Run Pharmacy is also able to bill Medicare directly for diabetic supplies including blood glucose meters, diabetic socks and also covered medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bathroom safety equipment and lift chairs. We do our best to bill insurance companies for compounded prescriptions and will assist you in providing necessary information for billing.

Special order items and compounds are filled as quickly as possible, often completed within 24 hours and can be mailed upon request providing the product is stable under those conditions. Please allow 2-4 working days to prepare your refills for compounded or custom made products.
