Exercise and you……
The American Heart Association has indicated that everyone should be getting 150 minutes of exercise per week to maintain a healthy heart, with many other benefits. 150 minutes can be broken down to 30 minutes a day for 5 out of 7 days in the week. Depending on the individual, this can be anything from walking around the block, to lifting weights, to running marathons. It is important to remember, when just beginning to exercise, to never push your limits. Find out what works for you and gradually work your way up. This will prevent injury and further help you maintain a regime of exercise goals.
