Difficulty Sleeping ?

Difficulty sleeping or insomnia is a very common condition, especially in adults.  Medications can be helpful in many patients, but the most effective treatments surprisingly don’t involve drugs.  Some things you can do to help improve sleep include routine exercise (3-4 times per week), creating a comfortable sleep environment by controlling temperature and limiting distractions, avoid caffeine or alcohol for several hours before bedtime, avoiding drinking large amounts of liquids in the evening, and doing something relaxing and enjoyable before bedtime.  Trying some of these suggestions will help you get a more restful night’s sleep!
