Eating a balanced diet

Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and veggies can help keep you healthy and lower

your risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. Only 1 in 10

adults eat the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables daily. The Centers for Disease

Control recommends that adults eat 1.5-2 cups of fruit and 2-3 cups of vegetables daily. Try

adding a side of fruit or veggies to all of your meals!
